Every property is legally bound to be in receipt of a Home Information Pack prior to the point of marketing for sale.

Additional changes were introduced into HIPS from 6 April 2009 to include a new Property Information Questionnaire (PIQ). From this date property is not allowed to be marketed unless the HIP is available.
